The idea

Taaly Haqolak was written for a friend going through a period of depression. Instead of direct advice, each song tells something from everyday life and then closes with a simple lesson, the way one friend talks to another over coffee.

The cover concept is pulling your real self out of a wall: breaking out of the stillness that depression traps you in.

Why this album matters

Most BOBOS work before 2026 was in English or Modern Standard Arabic. Taaly Haqolak is one of the first projects in colloquial Egyptian Arabic, bringing the music closer to the language people actually speak on the street.
