How to listen to BOBOS FM on any device
A practical guide to listening on your phone, computer, in the car and in radio apps, with fixes for the most common problems.
1. Straight from the website
The easiest way: press the play button in the bar at the bottom of any page. The stream starts in your browser with nothing to install, and the name of the current song appears next to it and updates by itself.
The stream stops when you move to another page. To listen without interruption, keep the home page open in its own tab, or open the official station player.
2. On your phone
- iPhone (Safari): open the site, tap the Share button and choose “Add to Home Screen”. You get a BOBOS FM icon like an app.
- Android (Chrome): open the site, tap the three dots at the top and choose “Add to Home screen”.
- On most phones the stream keeps playing when you lock the screen, as long as you don’t close the browser.
3. In radio apps (VLC and others)
You can play the station in any app that supports live streams, such as VLC, foobar2000 or Winamp. Copy this stream link:

If your app prefers playlist files, use one of these:

Connect your phone to the car by Bluetooth, CarPlay or Android Auto, and play the station from the browser or from the home-screen icon. Songs like “Sayba Asar” are mixed with a heavy low end made for car speakers.
Tip: the stream uses about 86 MB per hour. If your data plan is limited, keep that in mind on long drives.
Troubleshooting
I pressed play and there’s no sound
Check that your device isn’t muted and that the volume slider on the site isn’t at zero. Some browsers block playback until you interact with the page, so press play again.
The sound keeps cutting out
The stream needs a steady connection of about 0.2 Mbps. On a weak network, move closer to the router or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
The site works but the radio won’t play at work
Some company and university networks block audio streaming. Try mobile data.
The song name isn’t updating
The song name refreshes every 20 seconds. If it stays the same for a long time, reload the page.
Is listening free?
Yes. Listening to the station is completely free and needs no sign-up.
