Privacy policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026. This page explains what data is collected when you visit BOBOS FM and how it is used.
Who is responsible for your data
The website bobosfm.online and the BOBOS FM station are run by Ehab Nofal, based in Manchester, United Kingdom. For any privacy question, contact ehab@nofal.uk.
Data we collect
- Server logs: like any website, the server records technical data such as IP address, browser type and time of visit, to run the site and protect it from abuse.
- The audio stream: when you play the radio, your browser connects to the streaming server (AzuraCast). The server records listener counts, IP address and listening time for statistics.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): the site shows ads from Google. See the section below.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name or address unless you email us yourself.
Advertising and cookies
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info.
- To learn how Google uses data: How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union or Switzerland, a consent notice will appear when you first visit, letting you accept or refuse advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time from the “Privacy settings” link in that notice.
Legal basis and your rights
We process data on the basis of legitimate interest (running and protecting the site and stream) and on the basis of your consent (personalised advertising). Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have the right to request a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to its processing. Send your request to the email above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in the UK.

Server and stream logs are deleted automatically after a short period of no more than 90 days, unless we need them to investigate misuse.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
