Awel Lahza

The idea

Awel Lahza is BOBOS’s first full Arabic album, made during his recovery after surgery in Egypt in 2026. He wrote, composed, sang and produced it himself, entirely in Modern Standard Arabic.

The ten songs are ordered like chapters of one story. It starts with a passing glance in the street, moves through passion and sleepless nights, then longing, jealousy and the fear of loss, on to memories, parting and betrayal, and ends in denial: a man telling everyone he is fine while knowing he is lying to himself.
